Race season begins this weekend down at the Toronto Windsurfing Club….we will be down there to cheer on racers, demos and/or check out the new gear for Spring 2012…Many BW boards will be on the water kicking of the 2012 season….

Norm Hann joins Boardworks Surf Canada….
Boardworks Surf Canada is pleased to welcome Canadian Standup Paddleboard athlete Norm Hann to the team. A resident of Squamish, British Columbia, Norm has been at the forefront of standup paddleboarding in Canada since 2008 and has been instrumental in developing the sport throughout Western Canada.
His company Mountain Surf Adventures has been offering SUP lessons, race clinics and multiday expeditions to the Greatbear Rainforest since the company’s inception. Norm is a highly competitive racer and has competed throughout Canada and North America. He is a Paddle Canada Instructor trainer and has helped guide the development of the program. He has brought environmental awareness to the threat of oil tankers on the North Coast of BC through his 400 km SUP expedition called Standup4Greatbear.
Norm is excited to work with Boardworks Surf Canada, a family run business with a very strong product line. Norm will bring his SUP experience, industry knowledge and passion to help the company become a leader in Canada through increased brand awareness and new points of entry into the emerging Canadian SUP market. Norm will act as a resource and will offer support to the reps through training, demo’s, and product knowledge, which will help increase board sales and market share.
